De Queen to Offer 3 Free Outdoor Movies in Park
Three free outdoor movies will be offered by the city of De Queen Parks and Recreation Department in the Herman Dierks Park this summer, said De Queen Mayor Billy Ray McKelvy.
The project is a cooperative effort with the Sevier County 4-H Clubs, which provided funding for a projector and inflatable screen through a grant.
Mayor Billy Ray McKelvy said the movie program will offer area families a free source of entertainment during the summer months and encourage use of Herman Dierks Park.
